Hurstville Adventist School is owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Ltd, an organisation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
We are registered and accredited by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority, which regulates all independent schools in NSW and dictates the NSW curriculum guidelines and outcomes, including responsibilities regarding the Australian curriculum.
We are a member of the Association of Independent Schools of NSW.
Our Board of Directors ensures that our school has a financially sustainable future and remains well-resourced. Our strategic plan informs our school’s spiritual, academic, cultural and philosophical direction.
The administration of the school is delegated to the School Management Council. The Council is appointed by the Company Board of Directors and comprises members from surrounding SDA churches, the school principal and at least one representative from the Board of Directors. The School Management Council meets four times a year. To bring matters to the Board, please contact the principal.
At Hurstville Adventist School, we value family, where everyone is connected by community and every child belongs. Our Home and School Association is just one way of belonging to our school community.
